Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Karantexte is the National Educational Information System (Système National d'Information Éducative — SNIE) of the Republic of Guinea, developed and operated by Bintronix Tech (ceo@bintronix.gn). Karantexte is accessible at karantexte.com.

2. Data we collect

• Institutions : Name, address, type, school code, director identity.
• Students : Full name, date of birth, roll number, grades, attendance, parent email.
• Staff : Full name, email, role, national ID (optional).
• Diplomas : SHA-256 hash anchored publicly on Polygon blockchain — no personal data on chain.
• Usage data : IP address, browser type, pages visited (audit log for security).

3. How we use your data

• To operate the SNIE platform and provide education management services.
• To generate, sign, and verify blockchain-anchored diplomas.
• To send institutional notifications and system alerts via Resend.
• To comply with Ministry of Education reporting requirements.
• To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse.

4. Data retention

Student academic records are retained for a minimum of 30 years in compliance with Guinean archival law. Diploma blockchain hashes are permanent and cannot be deleted. Account data is deleted 90 days after account closure upon written request.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Ministry of Education of Guinea (as required by the SNIE mandate).
• Resend (email delivery) — subject to their privacy policy.
• Polygon Network (blockchain anchoring — hashes only, no personal data).
• DigitalOcean (hosting infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany — GDPR compliant).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at support@karantexte.com. Note that blockchain-anchored diploma hashes cannot be deleted (they contain no personal information).

7. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Diplomas are signed with RSA-4096 keys. Access is controlled by JWT tokens with 15-minute brute-force lockout. Audit logs record every sensitive action.
